Terms and conditions for the Back To Work helpline

  • The Service is access to the Back To Work helpline, which is provided to Vanquis customers as part of their Repayment Option Plan product.
  • The Back To Work helpline service (Service) may only be used for the duration that the Vanquis customer has the Repayment Option Plan product.
  • The service provider may request from the Vanquis Customer their Vanquis Card details for identification purposes when the Vanquis customer calls to use the Service.
  • The Service may only be used by a Vanquis customer, their spouse or partner, and any immediate family member permanently residing with the Vanquis customer (User).
  • The Service is available by telephone, online, facsimile and e-mail.
  • The hours of operation for the telephone helpline are Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (excepting Bank or Public Holidays).
  • Out of hours calls will be recorded and a User of the Service should receive a call back in approximately one business hour.
  • The service provider will only contact a User where the User has given their prior consent to the service provider either in writing, telephone, email and/or by facsimile.
  • Calls with the service provider are treated in confidence.
  • Vanquis Bank Limited will provide the Vanquis customer’s details to the service provider to confirm they are a Vanquis customer.
  • Any information the service provider requests from the User will be used for the service provider’s own internal recording purposes only.
  • Vanquis Bank Limited reserves the right to withdraw the Service at any time without notice to a Vanquis customer or User.
  • The service provider may supply to Vanquis Bank Limited anonymous statistical returns, but personal details allowing identification of a User will not be passed to Vanquis Bank Limited without the User’s prior consent.
  • Vanquis Bank Limited has no liability for the Service including any reliance placed on the advice provided to the User by the service provider. The User and/or the Vanquis customer hereby expressly acknowledge by using the Service that the Service is provided by the service provider and agree that Vanquis Bank Limited has no liability to the User and/or the Vanquis customer including for any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, costs, charges, damages or expenses arising out of or in connection with the Service, this agreement or its subject matter including, but not limited to, whether for breach of contract, in tort (including, without limitation, negligent act, omission or default of any individual), under statute or otherwise howsoever arising.
  • Calls to the helpline may cost about 4 pence per minute for BT customers. Call charges from other companies may vary and you may want to check this with your telephone service provider.
