Tesco Travel Money head, John Howells, honeymoons can prove quite costly to those who are tying the knot.
However, discussing some of the measures which people could take to address these costs, he stated: "It really pays to shop around for discounts in popular honeymoon resorts."
In addition to that tip, Mr Howells noted: "Couples should also keep an eye on exchange rates to see where their pound will stretch the furthest."
The remarks made by the commentator follow the publication of new Tesco Travel Money research, which suggests that honeymoons proved to be key areas of wedding expenditure for 39 per cent of married couples.
