Credit might be proving more difficult for some UK consumers to gain access to at present, it has been suggested, which may be of interest to users of
bad credit credit cards.
According to Darren Cook, spokesman for
Moneyfacts.co.uk, the financial climate has recently changed with regards to the availability of credit.
He stated: "Now it is far more difficult [to get credit] and there is far more risk-based lending."
Highlighting the impact this has had on UK consumers, Mr Cook continued: "The whole move into risk lending has affected a lot of households."
As a result of these developments, the commentator went on to suggest that a greater degree of pressure may currently be facing certain people who would normally qualify for credit.
Online fraud is one thing which credit cards could potentially help people to address, it was recently noted by John Miles, business development director at Gocompare.com.
