Holidaymakers 'should ensure credit cards are safely stored'
People are being encouraged to focus on the issue of credit card security if they are planning to head abroad for a holiday in the near future, which could help those with poor credit credit cards.

According to TripAdvisor, travellers could make use of money belts in order to safely secure their cards and cash.

When leaving their hotel to see the sights of a foreign destination, people might also benefit from taking just the one credit card out with them, the travel website advised.

Emma O'Boyle from the organisation feels that people may notably need to be careful when visiting busy tourist areas.

She stated: "By taking some simple precautions you'll be able to enjoy a fun and hassle-free holiday wherever you go."

Earlier this week, Post Office International Payments alerted those with holiday homes outside of the UK to certain extra costs that they may not have planned for financially.
