UK consumers 'could benefit from new credit rights'
When consumers look to get credit in the near future, they might be able to take advantage of new rights, an expert has pointed out.

Those aiming to get products like bad credit loans in the coming months might want to note the suggestions which have been made by the head of consumer finance at the Finance and Leasing Association (FLA), Fiona Hoyle.

She stated: "For consumer credit lenders, the remaining months in 2010 will be devoted to implementing new regulations delivering important new rights for consumers. These include clearer information on credit products."

Meanwhile, Ms Hoyle noted that credit cards and issues such as responsible lending will be covered by new rules in the months ahead.

Earlier in the month, the FLA also announced the launch of its new Good Credit campaign.

Government officials and politicians are among those who will be targeted through the initiative.
