Constantly overdrawn consumers 'may need debt advice'
Debt advice might prove useful to those consumers who always find themselves overdrawn, it has been noted.

Tracking down advice sooner rather than later could be beneficial if people have concerns about their finances, the Consumer Credit Counselling Service's (CCCS) Laura Carver has highlighted.

Ms Carver, helpline manager at the organisation, commented: "If you find you are routinely living beyond your means when it comes to day to day living expenses, call our helpline for free advice and support."

Debt problems may be faced by those who have to get credit in order to meet their daily outgoings, the CCCS suggests.

Price comparison website moneysupermarket.com recently highlighted the overdraft problems that a number of people may currently be having to deal with in the UK.

As many as ten per cent of consumers might always be in a position where they are overdrawn, research published by the site has shown.
