Financial advice charities 'can help people address money concerns'
Money advice charities could offer support to people who are concerned about their financial situation, according to one expert.

Chris Tapp, director of the money education organisation Credit Action, believes that financial charities can provide consumers with free guidance.

He commented: "The best thing for people to do is to look up where they can get free and independent help from a money advice charity."

However, Mr Tapp went on to say that a number of people may not currently be aware of how they can gain access to such financial advice.

Those currently struggling to overcome a bad credit rating may be interested to note that the expert also believes that the current financial climate may be heightening people's financial fears.

Meanwhile, the Children's Mutual chief executive David White has this week noted the importance of teaching young people about money matters, to help in their future development.ADNFCR-2660-ID-19478825-ADNFCR
