Brits urged to get fit financially and physically.
A new training scheme has been spearheaded by CreditExpert in a bid to help keep Brits financially fit.

The initiative was launched as figures revealed that nearly half of Brits who are worried about debt turn to their personal fitness trainer for advice on a number of things, including financial issues.

Credit report education training will be provided to personal trainers as part of the scheme, which will give Brits the opportunity to get top notch credit advice while keeping fit.

Personal trainers will be instructed on how to help their clients control their finances by maintaining a healthy credit score and regularly monitoring their credit report.

They could also be taught to explain how a healthy credit score can help their clients get credit and protect themselves from ID fraud.

Darryl Bowman, director at CreditExpert, said: "We want people to be less financially flabby and see this as a great opportunity to kill two birds with one stone. When people's finances are as tight as their abs we'll know our job is done!"

The news comes after a report from confused.com revealed that around 40 per cent of Britons fear that being rejected for a credit card will tarnish their credit score.ADNFCR-2660-ID-19459761-ADNFCR
