Government should 'put jobs first' says TUC
The TUC has urged the government to put jobs first, after the global economic crisis, left many people unable to get employment.

Millions of people across the world have been left with no other option but to get credit to make ends meet after losing their jobs during the recession.

TUC general secretary Brendan Barber has recently written to the prime minister asking him to put jobs, justice and climate at the heart of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting which starts on November 26th in Trinidad and Tobago.

Brendan Barber said that people will be looking to the prime minister to help them get back into work and out of the hardship they currently face.

He said: "Around the world millions have lost their jobs and they and their families are facing a very bleak future."

Official figures show that the number of unemployed people in the UK is set to hit 2.47 million while the number of job vacancies has dropped.ADNFCR-2660-ID-19432091-ADNFCR
