Money management 'can ease relationship stresses'
Couples attempting bad credit repair could find their relationship is placed under strain if they encounter financial difficulties.

Parenting and relationship journalist Kelly Rose Bradford warned those who have suffered as a result of the ongoing economic crisis may find these problems contribute to the breakdown of a relationship.

She advised anyone in this position discuss their issues, as "resentment bubbles" can proliferate when any matter is not discussed.

Ms Bradford emphasised the importance of communication between couples, as a blip - including a monetary one - can usually be managed.

"The strength of the relationship may be tested in times of financial hardship, but it should not really be a factor for separation - although obviously it could be a catalyst," she commented.

Recent research from Churchill Home Insurance found 28 per cent of young couples often delay their plans to move in together or go on holiday as a result of economic pressures.
