'Simple measures' can reduce bill costs
Anyone attempting bad credit repair by reducing their outgoings may be concerned by the rising cost of energy prices.

If this is the case, they may wish to take a few simple steps to reduce their usage and save themselves money in the long term.

Charities including the Citizens Advice Bureau, Consumer Focus and Which? have launched Big Energy Week in collaboration with the government.

The event runs from January 16th to 21st and encourages people to take actions such as turning out lights that are not in use and switching off appliances at the wall in order to help keep on top of bill payments.

"More and more people are coming to us for advice on how they can save money on their energy bills," noted chief executive of Citizens Advice Gillian Guy, adding: "We're worried that some people are struggling unnecessarily."

Chief executive of National Energy Action Jenny Saunders also recently called on Brits to take energy efficiency measures in their home in order to reduce their outgoings.
