Before they opt for new financial products, consumers should take the time to read any small print, an expert has suggested, which may interest those who are thinking about applying for
credit cards for bad credit.
The senior PR manager at switching website
uSwitch.com, Jo Ganly, feels that people need to have a good understanding of the financial products they are considering.
She stated: "Always check products out before signing up, read the small print and make sure you understand what you are getting. If in doubt, don't sign up."
It is important that Britons adopt a responsible approach when seeking financial products, Ms Ganly went on to suggest.
Earlier in the month, uSwitch.com also warned householders that they may be paying more for their energy than other consumers if they live in certain parts of the country.
The website described this situation as being a "postcode lottery".
