People looking to improve their money management by saving cash might benefit from shopping online, it has been suggested, which might help those who are in
credit card debt.
According to Ed Bowsher, the
lovemoney.com head of consumer finance, people may be able to reduce their spending by choosing to shop on the internet.
He commented: "In my experience, buying online is normally cheaper than buying on the high street."
However, Mr Bowsher did go on to say that "if you're shopping online you need to do some spadework to get the best deal".
The expert also suggested that online shopping may become even more popular in the near future, with British Population Survey figures highlighting how widely it is being adopted.
Figures published by InvisibleHand revealed earlier this month that as many as 68 per cent of people buying products online may be failing to take the time to shop around for the best available deals.
