Money-conscious consumers might want to take note of the advice offered by one expert relating to people's energy outgoings.
According to
Build It magazine editor Anna-Marie DeSouza, people may need to think about boosting the energy efficiency of their homes to save money on heating costs.
She stated: "Maybe the initial outlay may cost a few pounds, but in some cases [it] will save hundreds in the future."
Insulation could also help householders to lower their outgoings, Ms DeSouza continued.
With decent insulation levels, "you'll shave money off your heating bills", the expert went on to suggest, which might interest those who are aiming to manage their finances and overcome a
bad credit rating.
Sustainability is something that cannot be ignored by the country's residents, she added.
People aiming to reduce their expenditure in the current economic climate might also want to think carefully about their holiday outgoings, Keeble Hawson insolvency practitioner Robert Brown recently suggested to the Yorkshire Post.
