Women urged to plan for future.
Women should ensure they prepare financially for the future, it has been suggested.

Scottish Widows savings expert Alison Morris has noted that a number of females do not appear to be planning ahead for their retirement.

When it comes to this money management issue, figures published by her organisation suggest that the amount of women saving enough money towards their retirement stands at 47 per cent.

Women hoping to avoid credit card debt during their later years may be interested to note that Ms Morris believes that planning for the future is important.

She said: "While planning for retirement will probably not be a priority for many women they need to start putting themselves first when it comes to planning for their futures."

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development recently suggested that many workers feel they will not be able to afford to retire unless they work for longer.ADNFCR-2660-ID-19495053-ADNFCR
