Broadband users encouraged to make money savings
Broadband users should take steps to ensure that they are not missing out on money savings when it comes to their broadband deals, it is believed.

Broadbandchoices.co.uk has suggested that deals which allow consumers to make as many downloads as they want may not always prove to be cost effective.

People looking to manage credit card debt by keeping a tight rein on their finances might be keen to note that the website believes that consumers might not actually require more expensive unlimited deals.

"Consumers who pay for a service they are not making full use of are in effect throwing money down the drain," commented product director at the site Michael Phillips.

He added: "Broadband customers should shop around for a deal to suit their usage needs."

Ahead of the festive season last month, Broadbandchoices.co.uk called for web users to be aware of the extra costs that can apply if they breach their set download limits.
