Consumers encouraged to review post-Budget finances
In order to respond to this week's emergency Budget, it might prove beneficial for people to carefully review their finances, according to one website.

Moneysupermarket.com believes that an annual sum of £1,941 could be saved by consumers if they take the time to switch to the best available deals.

The website's head of banking, Kevin Mountford, suggested that people might only need half a day to make a difference.

He stated: "Spending half a day reviewing all of your personal finances could lead to an instant pay rise which the chancellor cannot get his hands on."

However, the expert did point out that tax rises could cause concern among some of the country's residents.

Towards the end of last month, moneysupermarket.com also suggested that credit card products are being frequently used by nearly five million people to meet the costs of domestic bills, which might interest those with credit cards for bad credit.
