Credit cards 'an option' for online shoppers concerned by fraud
Online shoppers looking to get credit by making use of credit cards may enjoy more protection against financial fraud, it has been suggested.

The money saving site VoucherCodes.com has outlined a number of ways in which it believes people can improve their online security.

Among these guidelines, the firm notes that credit cards might be a useful way for online shoppers to pay for their goods.

It claims that this is because such cards are often fitted with "built-in checks" to try to reduce the risks of fraud.

VoucherCodes.com managing director James Carter suggests that many websites can provide people with good offers if they are willing to overcome some of the security fears they may have.

BitDefender has also recently highlighted the importance of computer security if people choose to spend money on goods they find on the internet.

It believes that people should aim to be certain about the credentials of the sites they buy from.
