Which? spells out airline costs to credit card users
A consumer organisation has highlighted the potential costs that credit card users may face when it comes to booking budget flights.

Which? Holiday has noted some of the fees that cheaper airlines may charge if people are looking to check in their bags on flights, or buy plane tickets with credit card products.

The organisation's head of research Rochelle Turner has claimed that some of the costs that used to be factored in to ticket prices are now being charged separately.

She said: "How many people don't use a credit or debit card to pay for their flights, or travel without luggage?

"These aren't extra services. They are part and parcel of taking a flight."

Meanwhile, people looking to get credit and make last-minute Christmas purchases online may benefit from advice offered by Which? last month, which looked at a number of issues relating to internet security.
