People aiming to get credit in the near future should ensure they shop around for products, an expert suggests, which might interest those who are looking to obtain
credit cards for bad credit.
Shopping around will ensure that consumers are able to access the most appropriate deals to suit their personal circumstances, the
Confused.com spokesperson Zoe Stevens believes.
She stated: "The important thing is that people understand the deal they are taking, whether that's a personal loan, a
credit card or a mortgage."
The expert went on to say that for a number of people, it might be essential to regularly borrow cash.
However, on average, the debt levels of UK consumers appear to be on the rise, Ms Stevens added.
The Confused.com head of
credit cards Joanna Garcia has also recently noted that people's
credit card choices may be influenced by the amount they are able to repay each month.
