People 'should consider most suitable credit card products'
Consumers looking to get credit cards in the near future might benefit if they take the time to consider the most suitable products for their individual needs, it has been suggested.

The Confused.com head of credit cards Joanna Garcia believes that people's choice of cards may be determined by whether or not they intend to make their full monthly repayments.

She stated: "When choosing a credit card, it's always important to think about how you will use it, as different cards offer different benefits depending on customers credit needs."

Earlier this month, the price comparison website also published separate research showing that people who are aged between 18 and 21 are seen to be the country's biggest credit risks.

Meanwhile, people aged between 61 and 65 are reportedly less of a credit risk, perhaps because of their stronger understanding of issues relating to finance and money management.
