UK 'facing large national and individual debts'
The UK is currently having to face up to large levels of debt, when it comes to individual consumers and the nation as a whole.

That is according to the Citizens Advice director of policy Teresa Perchard, who suggests that the country is unlikely to escape its debt problems in the coming five years.

She commented: "We go into the next five years carrying a huge amount of debt - not just the national debt, but individuals' lending is still very great."

Financial exclusion is something that a number of people may be having to deal with due to the impact of things like utility and water debt, Ms Perchard believes.

Her comments follow the publication of Credit Action figures relating to things like credit card debt.

The organisation has revealed that the country saw personal debt total more than £1,460 billion in the first month of this year.
