Price comparison sites 'not always trusted'
A number of consumers do not trust price comparison websites when searching for financial products, research suggests.

People looking to overcome credit card debt by shopping around for the best value products may be interested to note that Which? Money believes many consumers are not satisfied with price comparison services.

In a recent survey, as few as three in ten of those people polled felt comparison sites would offer them the best price.

Which? Money's editor James Daley suggests that consumers should use multiple sites when searching for financial products.

He commented: "If you're shopping around for a good deal, it makes sense to go to more than one site and be aware that some companies aren't featured."

Earlier this month, Which? called for energy companies to be more transparent when they announce their prices.

It suggests consumers should be told how their energy prices are calculated.ADNFCR-2660-ID-19466540-ADNFCR
