1 The Promoter
1.1 This prize draw is operated by Vanquis Bank Limited (“Vanquis”), incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 02558509 whose registered office is at No.1 Godwin Street, Bradford, BD1 2SU.
2 The Promotion
2.1 The prize draw forms part of the Vanquis Loans Lifestyle Survey 2023.
3 Promotion Period
3.1 The prize draw will run from 00:01 on 21st September 2023 (the "Start Date") to 23:59 on 8th October 2023 (the "End Date").
3.2 Entries received by Vanquis before the Start Date or after the End Date set out in condition 3.1 will be void and will not be entered into this prize draw.
4 How to Enter
4.1 An invited Vanquis loan customer will be auto enrolled in the prize draw upon completion of the survey issued to them via email.
4.2 Entries that do not comply with these prize draw terms and conditions will be void and will not be entered into this prize draw.
4.3 Entries into this prize draw are free of charge (no purchase required).
5 Promotion Prize
5.1 There is one prize of £250 to be won only.
5.2 There is no alternative prize.
5.3 The prize is non-transferable or non-exchangeable.
6 Selection of the winner
6.1 One (1) winner will be randomly selected from all entries by Vanquis via a random number generator through Google on 9th October 2023.
6.2 The winner of this prize draw will be the first entrant randomly selected from all entries correctly submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions.
7 Restrictions and requirements
7.1 In relation to this prize draw, please note the following restrictions and requirements apply:
7.1.1 This prize draw is open to Vanquis loan customers only, who are 18 years of age or over and are residents of the United Kingdom.
7.2 Employees of the Vanquis Banking Group and their immediate families are ineligible to enter this prize draw.
7.3 You may only submit one (1) entry to this prize draw via the dedicated email you have been sent.
8 Notification of the results and receipt of the prize
8.1 Vanquis will notify the winner by email or telephone on 9th October 2023.
8.2 The winners must notify Vanquis of their acceptance of the prize within 14 (fourteen) working days once they have been contacted by Vanquis in accordance with condition 8.1.
8.3 Should a winner fail to accept the prize within 14 (fourteen) days of being notified then that entry will become invalid, the prize will be forfeited, and Vanquis reserves the right to randomly select a replacement winner from the remaining eligible entrants in accordance with condition 6.1.
8.4 The prize may not be claimed by a third-party on your behalf.
8.5 The decision of Vanquis is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
9 Data Protection and Publicity
9.1 Vanquis will use your personal information only in accordance with these terms and conditions and its privacy policy, which can be found here: Privacy & Cookie Policy - Vanquis
9.2 The surname and county of the winners can be obtained by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to ‘The Customer Insight Team, Vanquis Bank Limited, No.1 Godwin Street, Bradford, BD1 2SU’, within three (3) months of the Closing Date, marked “Vanquis Bank Loans Lifestyle Survey 2023”.
9.3 You acknowledge that you may be asked to participate in publicity if you are selected as a winner.
9.4 If you do not want your surname and county included on the list of winners referred to above, you must notify Vanquis a reasonable period of time before the Closing Date of this prize draw. In such circumstances, Vanquis must still provide the information and winning entries to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
10 General
10.1 Vanquis reserves the right to hold, void, cancel, suspend or amend this prize draw where it becomes reasonably necessary to do so.
10.2 By submitting an entry into this prize draw, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
10.3 Insofar as is permitted by law, Vanquis, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner(s) or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Vanquis, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
10.4 The laws of England and Wales apply to these terms and conditions and the prize draw.
10.5 Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. This means that you can choose whether to bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or in the courts of another part of the UK in which you live.
